PROJECT SUMMARY:<\/strong><\/p>\n As part of continued improvements at Auckland’s Kelly Tarltons Underwater World, H2O Engineering was awarded the contract to replace the facility’s sea water filtration system along with upgrades to the Ozone gas distribution and water chilling systems. \nThe scope included detailed design, installation and commissioning of each of the replaced or refurbished systems.<\/p>\n
\nThe Kelly Tarltons plant room environment presented a unique challenge due to the moist salt air environment and space restrictions for new plant. Along with environmental considerations inside the plant room all the works took place while the facility and life support systems were in operation. Careful consideration of materials was required with every aspect of the project to ensure upgraded systems were robust enough for long term service.<\/p>\n\n
